If you already paid
- Call your bank now and ask for a wire recall or a chargeback. Wires can sometimes be stopped within hours.
- Report it to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov and to the FBI at ic3.gov.
- File a report here so the next person searching this website finds it.
Two more checks worth a minute
- Look up when jlautosale.com was registered. A dealership trading for years does not usually have a domain registered last month.
- Reverse image search the listing photographs. Stolen inventory pictures are the most common single tell.
